Margarita Fores is the owner of the restaurant, Cibo, which means “food” in Italian.
She also owns Grace Park, Lusso, and the catering business, Cibo di M.
Margarita focuses on Italian cuisine.
In fact, in 2013, she opened the renowned Italian Culinary School, Casa Artusi Philippines.
Even though Margarita loves Italian food, she’s a proud Filipina.
She’s an advocate of taking Filipino cuisine to the international scene.
In line with her advocacy, Margarita Fores co-authored Kulinarya (A Guidebook to Philippine Cuisine).
It’s a book featuring popular regional dishes from the Philippines.
Margarita Fores has been voted by over 300 restaurant industry experts all over Asia.
The fourth Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony will be on February 29th.
It will be held at W Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
