Enchong Dee admitted on Tonight with Boy Abunda (TWBA) that he and Samantha Lewis are now “just friends”. Enchong and Sam had been a couple for two years.
Boy asked the question about the status of Enchong’s relationship with Sam directly. He said, “Kayo ba ay naghiwalay na ni Samantha Lewis?” (Have you and Samantha Lewis, separated from each other?)

Enchong started answering the question by saying that when he saw the TWBA teaser which hinted that it will be about his love life, he immediately texted Sam. He told her, “Sam, this is going to happen, this is the topic, this is the headline”.
Apparently it was ok with Samantha as she said, “no problem”.
Enchong continued, “I mean, ang dami na naming pinagdaanan together and this is just one of those. But yeah, we’re just friends.” (We went through a lot together and this is just one of those.)
Noting that the separation does not look as hard, compared to other separations, Boy had to ask how Enchong manages that kind of situation.
Without hesitation, Enchong said, “I love her. I love her, Tito Boy. Bibihira akong makahanap ng ganung klaseng babae. But I think there’s just a certain point, wherein you just say STOP.”

Asked if it was a friendly breakup, Enchong gave a touching reply. He said:
I told her that, anytime you need me, just let me know. I’ll be here.
The versatile actor did not give any particular reason for their parting of ways and told Boy that he is not ready to fall in love again. He said that all he’s thinking about now is work, work, work.
And work is all that Enchong is really focused on right now. For his 10th year celebration in showbusiness, he is offering his fans a second album titled EDM (Enchong Dee Moves). which will be available for download on iTunes, Star Music, and Amazon on May 27. It will be released in record bars and outlets on June 3. but fans can now have a listen on Spotify for free.
Enchong will also star in a movie, showing July 6, with Kiray Celis. He describes the movie as something new, ” a breather” for an actor like him.
