Dance Princess Ella Cruz opened her own dance studio on June 2, turning her passion to good use.
Named simply as ECdance Studio, Ella says she is super excited of her first dance studio and of her first time to become a businesswoman.

Asked by DJ Jhai Ho of Hotspot why she decided to put up a dance studio, Ella said that she thought of having her own dance studio when she began making dance videos.
She said “Naisip ko nung time na yun, gastos ako nang gastos para lang mag rent. Tapos sabi ko, sana next time magkaron naman ako ng sarili kong dance studio na para di ako nahihirapang mag rent, tapos yung gusto kong wall natutupad, so eto na, dito na,na push ko sya. After one year eto na sya.”

Ella has been in showbusiness for literally half her life. She started as a child actress in 2006 when she was about 10 years old. Probably not a lot of people remember that she also won as Best Child Actress at the 56th FAMAS Awards for the film Resiklo way back 2008.
When people hear Ella’s name nowadays, they always associate it with twerking, because of her Twerk it Like Miley video which became a monstrous hit, with 10 million views and counting.
After that, Ella also had other dance videos which went viral. Her tv guestings wherein she performs her “buwis buhay” dance numbers had always created a buzz on social media and also went viral on YouTube.
Ella is hoping that her newly-opened dance studio will be the first of many. She told DJ Jhai Ho that she’ll be conducting some dance classes herself and so will some of her friends, who are also excellent dancers in their own right.
ECdance Studio is located at the 2nd floor, 61 Kamuning Road, Barangay Kamuning, Quezon City.
