Former child star CJ Ramos released from jail after arrest over illegal drugs.
The former child star CJ Ramos (34 years old), known for being part of ‘Ang TV‘, a youth-oriented variety show in the Philippines in the 1990s, has been release on bail on August 9, 2018.
CJ Ramos is also known for movies: Tanging yaman (2000), Tumbasan mo ng buhay (1993) and Ang TV Movie: The Adarna Adventure (1996).
This was after he was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Caloocan City Police in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, Philippines, a week ago.
According to CJ Ramos’s half-brother, actor Sherwin Ordoñez, known for Kurap (2008), Ikaw lang ang mamahalin (2001) and Pintados (1999), the court granted the family’s motion for bail reduction. The bail was originally PHP 200,000.
After the release of CJ Ramos from prison, CJ went home to be with his family.
The former child actor CJ Ramos turned to drugs when he went through hardships and financial problems. He wants his bitter experience to be a lesson to others, especially to people in show business.
