Queen of Dubsmash and Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza shares rare throwback photos of her internship at the resort hotel, The Sagamore, in Bolton Landing, New York.

Prior to becoming a celebrity, Maine Mendoza spent 6 months at The Sagamore as an intern. Maine got her Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management major in Culinary Arts at the De La Salle – College of St. Benilde in the Philippines.

Despite her phenomenal success, Maine Mendoza always looks back to her internship at The Sagamore.

In her latest Instagram post, Maine Mendoza posted a total of 7 pictures from her Sagamore days and said she misses the kitchen life at The Sagamore.

Maine Mendoza previously wrote in her blog that she worked at the omelette station at The Sagamore and had to wake up at 4:00 AM to get ready for work.

The Sagamore internship photos Maine Mendoza posted, showed just how funny she is, even before she landed her iconic “Yaya Dub” role on the noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga”.

Maine already had that knack for making those comical but charming wacky faces and poses that she’s known for.

In her blog, Maine Mendoza said her internship at The Sagamore was the highlight of her 2014. She also said that everything that happened in Bolton Landing was “too remarkable” and she will “never get tired of being nostalgic about it.”

In July 16, 2015, Maine Mendoza‘s role as “Yaya Dub” in noontime variety show Eat Bulaga became a household name after an “unscripted” pairing with actor and singer Alden Richards.

AlDub, which is the collective name of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza was officially created July 16, 2015, a Thursday. Since then, AlDub fans has found ways to celebrate the date when the AlDub love team was created.

Maine Mendoza is currently a co-host of “Eat Bulaga” and is now shooting for a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2018 entry titled “Jack Em Popoy: The PulisCredibles” with Coco Martin and Vic Sotto.
