Filipino-Canadian singer and actor Darren Espanto (age 17), aka the Total Performer, recently wowed a huge audience at the Araneta Coliseum with his version of ‘Never Enough‘, from the movie ‘The Greatest Showman‘.

Darren was one of the guests at “Ganda for All Music Festival” on September 8, 2018. It was the event wherein Vice Cosmetics Philippines secured a Guinness World Record for most people applying lipstick simultaneously.

Vice Cosmetics Philippines is the cosmetics company of comedian and TV host Vice Ganda (age 42).

Darren Espanto performed several songs including his cover of ‘Dying Inside to Hold You’, but his cover of “Never Enough” was the most challenging in his repertoire for the event.

Darren Espanto is known for belting songs and for doing covers of songs that are quite hard to sing and are known for its high notes.

Coming in second to Lyca Gairanod at the first season of “The Voice Kids” Philippines, Darren Espanto’s popularity continued to rise from thereon.

Darren Espanto’s cover of Sia’s ‘Chandelier‘ at the Wish 107.5 bus when he was just 14 years old, was praised by international celebrities like American actor and investor Ashton Kutcher (age 40), Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj (age 35), English singer-songwriter Jessie J (age 30), and American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino (age 34).

The timbre of his voice might have changed because of puberty, but Darren Espanto’s singing style has remained powerful and impressive to this day.
