Philippine Queen of All Media Kris Aquino (age 47) clarified that she is not part of the cast of Daddy’s Gurl, the new sitcom of actor Vic Sotto (age 64) and actress and comedienne Maine Mendoza (age 23).
In an Instagram post dated September 25, 2018, Kris Aquino reacted to a post by Kapuso Philippines which includes her name as part of the main cast of Daddy’s Gurl.
Kris Aquino said that Daddy’s Gurl was never offered to her and that she is not part of the cast. She nevertheless expressed her gratitude to the producers, Tony Tuviera and Orly Ilacad, for the movie ‘Little Bossings‘ which starred her son, Bimby Aquino Yap (age 11) and child star Ryzza Mae Dizon (age 13).
It turns out that Daddy’s Gurl director, Chris Martinez co-wrote Sukob with Director Chito Roño. Sukob is the popular horror flick which starred Kris Aquino and Claudine Barretto.
Kris Aquino said she is thankful to all of these “angels” who have contributed to her professional growth.

A clarification w/ many good wishes for their new show’s success.
Though Kris Aquino is not part of the cast of Daddy’s Gurl, she wished much success for the new sitcom which stars Maine Mendoza, Vic Sotto, and Wally Bayola.
Kapuso Philippines has already posted their apology to Kris Aquino on their Facebook page, and has deleted Kris Aquino’s name from the cast of Daddy’s Gurl.
What Kris Aquino fans want
Commenters on Kris Aquino’s Instagram post are urging Kris to be at least a guest on Daddy’s Gurl since they are missing her presence on television.
Some have also suggested that Kris Aquino have her own talk show on GMA Network, a wish that has been constantly repeated since Kris left ABS-CBN in 2016.
