American Rapper and “Invasion of Privacy” singer Cardi B turned herself in to the police on October 1, 2018 in New York. Cardi B was arrested and charged with assault and reckless endangerment in connection with a strip club (Angels Strip Club in Queens) fight in August 29, 2018.
Cardi B allegedly threw a chair that hit somebody not involved in the fight. Aside from that, bottles were allegedly thrown, too, which hit two bartenders. According to Cardi B’s lawyer, Jeff Kern:
We are not aware of any evidence that she caused anybody any harm at the club that night. We expect that the matter is going to be resolved expeditiously.
The fight in question, which may be because of a romantic dispute, reportedly involved Cardi B’s entourage and is related to a long-running conflict.
According to Joe Tacopina, the lawyer of the two bartenders:
Cardi B ordered and committed violent assaults against my clients, and is being called to justice for her crimes. Apparently, she thinks her celebrity status puts her above the law.
But reality is setting in, as justice does not care whether her name is Cardi B or Carly B, and she will now answer for her crimes.
