The Cinema One Originals Film Festival 2018 has concluded, with the winners recognized in an awards night held at the Dolphy Theater, ABS-CBN, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 21, 2018.

Now on its 14th year, the Cinema One Originals Film Festival had the theme “I Am Original”.

A total of 9 entries with relevant and original stories, were screened in selected cinemas from October 12 to 21, 2018.

At the awards night, “Paglisan” emerged as the big winner, bagging 4 awards, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Sound, and Bughaw Award.

In terms of most number of awards, “Never Tear Us Apart” is tops, with a total of 6 awards, including Best Director, Best Cinematography, Special Jury Prize, and more.

“Mamu; and A Mother Too” won 3 awards including Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Audience Choice Award.

The Cinema One Originals 2018 awards night was hosted by actor and singer Xian Lim (age 29) and actress Jodi Sta. Maria (age 36).
