Actress and TV host Maine Mendoza (age 23), aka Phenomenal Star, graced the unveiling of COD (Christmas on Display) at the Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines on November 22, 2018.
Maine Mendoza, along with child star Baeby Baste and Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray and her Court, and the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir, were the special guests for the launch of the COD at Araneta.
The COD has come back to the Araneta Center, specifically at the Times Square Food Park, after 16 years of absence.

The Phenomenatl Star, who catapulted to fame via Dubsmash videos and later on as the other half of the love team AlDub (together with Alden Richards), sang the Ariana Grande version of “Last Christmas” by WHAM.
In an interview with showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas, Maine admitted that she still has stage fright. Just before she climbed the stage to perform, she said she really felt nervous.
But the jitters must have faded away as Maine Mendoza felt the overwhelming support of her fans who flocked to the COD launch at Araneta Center just to catch a glimpse of her.

Maine promoted her upcoming movie “Jack Em Popoy: The PulisCredibles” with Vic Sotto and Coco Martin, during the event.
Maine Mendoza Album
Meanwhile, fans online, are now asking about Maine Mendoza’s upcoming album, after watching her perform “Last Christmas”.
Maine Mendoza is set to release an album under Universal Records, but the date of release is not known yet.
She said in a Q & A in September, 2018 that she has recorded a couple of songs, one cover and one original. But Maine Mendoza admitted she is busy with her sitcom (Daddy’s Gurl) and MMFF movie entry, “Jack Em Popoy: The PulisCredibles” and can’t focus on her album yet.
