The 2018 Manila concert of Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd (age 28) has been canceled due to “production requirement issues”.
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, is set for his Asia tour which will kickoff on November 30, 2018 in Hong Kong.
But sadly, the Manila leg of his Asian tour will not push through anymore.
Concert producer MMI Live made the announcement early morning of November 23, 2018 on their Facebook page.

Due to production requirement issues, we regret to announce that The Weeknd Live in Manila concert is now cancelled.
Ticket refund starts on Tuesday, December 4, 10:00 AM until March 4, 2019.
