“Bangkay” wiki

De Andres has played bit roles in more than 100 movies and TV shows.

His gaunt looks and thin body was perfect for playing the character he most often played – a dead man in comedy or horror movies. He earned the nickname “Kamatayan” (death) and later “Bangkay” (corpse) for doing so.

He became part of the series “Forevermore”, which top billed Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.

Playing the role of “Bangky” in the series, he became part of a love team called “BangLi”, with fellow horror veteran, Lilia Cuntapay, as his partner.
