It seems like actress Jennifer Aniston (age 49) never imagined she would someday be called a “friend” by legendary country singer-composer and actress, Dolly Parton (age 72).

In an interview with ET Online, says she’s “dying on the inside” when Dolly Parton calls her a friend. Covering her face with her hands, Jennifer said. “It’s just been pinch me. Pinch me exciting.”

Jennifer Aniston and Dolly Parton recently collaborated on the movie “Dumplin'”, which premiered on Netflix on December 7, 2018. Aniston played the role of a mother to Willowdean ‘Dumplin’ Dickson, a plus size girl who joins a beauty contest.

Dolly Parton was asked by Jennifer Aniston to make one song for the movie, but Dolly ended up writing six original songs for the film. In one of those songs (“Push and Pull”), Jennifer Aniston did backup vocals for Dolly.

One of the songs from the movie soundtrack, titled “Girl in the Movies” has been nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Globe Awards and the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
