Celine Dion’s life to become a movie titled “The Power of Love”.
“The Power of Love” movie is about Canadian singer, Celine Dion (age 50), and is currently in the works from French studio, Gaumont. “The Power of Love” is set to be released on December 2, 2020, following the success of the biographical film “Bohemian Rhapsody” (2018) about the late lead vocalist of rock band, Queen, and the upcoming biopic of English singer-songwriter Elton John called, “Rocketman”.
Celine Dion’s hit songs like “My Heart Will Go On”, “All by Myself”, and “I’m Alive” will be on the movie, too. Celine Dion and her record company have already authorized those songs to be used in the movie.
French actress and director, Valerie Lemercier (age 54), will play the role of Celine Dion. She’s also the director of the movie.
According to Valerie Lemercier, she was inpired by Celine Dion’s strength and determination after the death of her beloved husband. That pushed her to know everything about Celine Dion’s story. Valerie Lemercier stated, “I discovered the strength of their love story and their great humor, and I better understood how the alchemy of their three individual ambitions made an unwanted, little girl the greatest star on the planet”. Being a perfectionist and an overachiever, Valerie Lemercier and Celine Dion have a lot in common.
The “The Power of Love” movie tells the life of Celine Dion from her humble beginnings in Charlemagne, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to her achieving legendary status in the music business. The movie will also showcase her extraordinary love story with late husband and talent manager, René Angélil, who passed away in 2016 at age 73 because of throat cancer.
“The Power of Love” movie will be mainly in French, and will start filming in March 2019.
