South Korean singer and actress Sandara Park brings Choc Nut to Paris Fashion Week.
Yes, you read it right, Choc Nut makes it to Paris Fashion Week (PFW), courtesy of Sandara Park (age 34).
South Korean singer and actress Sandara Park (aka Dara), showed the contents of her bag on the way to a PFW event in a video by Elle Korea.
The video follows Sandara’s activities throughout the week, with Dara vlogging and interacting with her fans.
About four minutes into the video, Dara is shown rummaging through her bag, to show what’s inside it.
She starts with Chosunga 22 Cushion Pact. Then she pulls out an L’Occitane Nail & Cuticle Oil and Sabon hand cream.
Just when one thinks she will show another beauty product, Sandara pulls out a piece of Choc Nut, the popular chocolate-peanut candy from the Philippines.
Speaking in Korean, she described Choc Nut as the “national chocolate” of the Philippines, saying that it’s her favorite snack when she needs her mood lifted. Sandara talks about Choc Nut far longer than the beauty products in her bag, which her fans found to be amusing.

Sandara’s fondness for Choc Nut can be traced to spending 13 years of her life in the Philippines, where the chocolate peanut-flavored candy is very popular.
Dara’s family moved to the Philppines in 1994 when she was 10 years old. She rose to fame in 2004 in the talent search TV program Star Circle Quest and moved back to Korea in 2007.
While she became famous in Korea by 2009 as a member of K-pop group 2NE1, Sandara never forgot her fondness for the Philippines.
She comes back to the country every now and then for some projects. She was a judge in Pinoy Boyband Superstar in 2016, and accompanied Seungri on his Manila concert in December 2017.
