The TNT Boys Charm with ‘Flashlight’ – The World’s Best Championships.
The Filipino boy band, TNT Boys (Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, Francis Concepcion), take the stage for the Group Variety Championship round and impress with a version of Jessie J’s hit “Flashlight.” They competed against American acapella group, Naturally 7, and American singer Vonnie Lopez.
Many people are wondering why the TNT Boys didn’t deliver a more impressive performance than their previous one, “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going”.
Some say it might have been “wrong song choice” or they really wanted to lose? Others are pointing out that it’s impossible that a contestant would ever wish to lose a competition after joining it.
Whatever the reason behind why TNT Boys chose to perform “Flashlight”, it’s still considered a great performance for the majority of YouTube commenters.
Although, for others, they see it as some sort of a “goodbye song”. They said it’s noticeable at the beginning of the performance, the kids were low-spirited. Commenters are speculating that it could be because the kids already know they wouldn’t win the show.
Also, some people believe they should be brought back as a wildcard. Others are saying that the kids are still young and since they have a world tour in April 2019, TNT Boys should take time to rest.
