Maelyn Jarmon (age 26) of Frisco, Texas sang a stunning cover of “Mad World”, a 1982 hit by the band Tears for Fears during The Voice Cross Battles 2019 (season 16).
Jarmon, who is part of Team John Legend, won against Rod Stokes of Team Adam Levine who sang “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You”. Stokes was in turn stolen by Kelly Clarkson for her team.
Those who were eliminated from The Voice 2019 after the cross battles include Karen Galera of Team Clarkson, Kayslin Victoria of Team Legend and Andrew Jannakos of Team Levine.
The Voice 2019 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
