Here’s how the judges commented on Wade Cota’s performance:

Luke Bryan: “This will sound cliche. A star is born.”

Lionel Richie

Absolutely (agreeing with Luke). I am telling you right now. The music business needs to be inspired. And somebody has to come and shake the world up. And that voice you have, I know that’s you, my friend. Congratulations.

Katy Perry

I’m just so grateful that we get to help nurture and grow and support you in finding You. ‘Cause we may have found you but tonight you found You.
