Alejandro Aranda (age 24) of California, sang his original song titled “Poison” as a Showstopper performance on American Idol 2019 (Season 17).
The performance was well-praised by judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, who were unanimous in saying it was Alejandro Aranda’s best performance in the competition so far.
Alejandro Aranda was voted by America to the Top 4 of American Idol 2019. He will be performing with the other Top 4 contestants which includes Laine Hardy, Wade Cota, and Madison Vandenburg on May 12, 2019. They will be joined by Laci Kaye Booth, who was saved by the judges from elimination.
