This animated comedy series, Tuca & Bertie, will not return to Netflix for Season 2. (Check out Tuca & Bertie Season 1)
Tuca & Bertie stars Tiffany Haddish (as Tuca) and Ali Wong (as Bertie). It is about the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building.
The original release date of Tuca & Bertie on Netflix is May 3, 2019. But since the show didn’t attract as many viewers as they hope, Netflix decided to not order the Season 2 of the show.
Lisa Hanawalt created a relatable yet whimsical world in Tuca & Bertie.
We’re grateful to Lisa, and her fellow executive producers Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Noel Bright, Steven A. Cohen, and EPs/stars Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong, along with all of the writers and animators for sharing the funny and dynamic female bird duo of Tuca and Bertie with the world.

Viewer count aside, critics and fans love Tuca & Bertie. They say it is funny and it tackles relatable issues. Fans are upset about its cancellation. They are even asking others to voice out their support, hoping that Netflix would stop cancelling Tuca & Bertie.
