The Bachelorette finale episode titled “After The Final Rose” began with Hannah Brown (age 24) still torn between Tyler Cameron (age 26) and Jed Wyatt (age 25).
Jed and Tyler get to choose engagement rings for Hannah.
On the way to the final rose ceremony, Hannah Brown freaks out, gets out of the van and says “I really can’t do this”. She tripped and fell to the ground while walking down the road.
At the rose ceremony, everyone gets a hint as to who wins The Bachelorette 2019, when it’s Tyler who’s first to arrive. He was giving his romantic speech for Hannah, but she interrupts him. She told him she’s lucky to be loved by Tyler, that he was sweet and strong and has supported her. “But I love someone else. I’m so sorry,” Hannah said.
Though Tyler looked hurt, as expected, he says he will continue to root for her and wished Hannah and Jed “nothing but success.”
When it was Jed’s turn, he says he’s so in love with Hannah, but he’d rather sing her a song because talking is sometimes hard for him.
In turn, Hannah told Jed how much she loved him. “I am in complete love with you. I love you, Jed Wyatt,” Hannah said.
Jed continues with his proposal saying he doesn’t want to live a day without Hannah, and then asks her to marry him. Hannah accepts.
Hannah reveals on voice over that Jed told her about the woman (Haley Stevens) he was seeing back home, two days after the proposal. But he assured her that he had broken up the relationship before he joined “The Bachelorette.”
Somehow, Hannah went along with Jed’s story.
But when Haley’s own version of the story came out on People (after the season taping has ended) – that Jed never broke off with her and joined the Bachelorette to advance his music career, Hannah Brown learned that Jed was not telling the truth.
When confronted about Haley, Jed’s defense is that it wasn’t an exclusive thing between them and that they just hung out a few times.
But Hannah didn’t buy Jed’s excuse and explanation about Haley. She got mad that Jed did not admit to dating Haley even when they did things that only real couples do – weekend getaway, movie, s**, Haley meeting his parents, Bahamas trip and all.
Jed said that when he left to join “The Bachelorette”, in his mind, the relationship with Haley was over. “I ended it in my heart and not verbally.”
Towards the end of their discussion, Hannah says, “You’re really selfish in this, and right now I feel like my decisions and my choices were all tainted.”
After that long discussion with Jed about Haley, Hannah decides she’s had enough of Jed. She points to the engagement ring and says, “This doesn’t mean the same thing. That’s not what I said yes to.” She takes off the ring and says she does not know if she wants to be with Jed anymore.
The episode cuts to Hannah joining host Chris Harrison onstage. She revealed to everyone that she broke up and ended everything with Jed.
Jed comes onstage next and apologizes to Hannah, her family and to everyone else, including the Bachelor Nation. He said he is still in love with Hannah, but Hannah says she is over him.
After that chapter with Jed has ended, Hannah then comes face to face again with Tyler C, who looks as handsome as ever when he comes onstage.

Hannah admitted her feelings for him were still there. Tyler meanwhile says he’s proud of the way Hannah handled things and how strong she has been all along.
The Bachelorette Hannah then goes for it. She said that Tyler is an incredible guy and she’s a single girl, “So I just thought maybe we could go for a drink and just hang out.” And what do you know, Tyler said he would love to!
To sum it up, most of The Bachelorette rumors and spoilers turned out to be true. Hannah did choose Jed as the winner of The Bachelorette 2019, she accepted his proposal, but broke off the engagement with him after learning about the story of Haley Stevens.
The question now is, what would happen to Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown a few months from now? Will they get engaged in the end?
