Part one of “The Bachelorette” finale episode (Season 15) began with Hannah Brown (age 24), an interior designer and Miss Alabama USA 2018, faced with the decision on who to send home among Tyler Cameron (age 26), Peter Weber (age 27) and Jed Wyatt (age 25).
She gives the first rose to singer and musician Jed, and proceeds to give the other one to Tyler C, who’s a general contractor. Thus, Peter the pilot is eliminated and sent home.
Although Hannah decided to send home Peter, she tells him he’s the dream guy and looked at him as her Ken doll. She also told him she had an amazing time in the fantasy suite (that popular windmill).
In turn, Peter tells Hannah that she will “always have a piece of my heart”. Peter is devastated and obviously hurt as he gets in the car, while Hannah is left crying.
The episode cuts to a live interview with Peter in the studio, saying he fell in love with Hannah in Latvia. Hannah joins him to say there’s nothing wrong with Peter but she wished he could have told her sooner how he felt for her.
On a lighter note, Hannah reveals that they did not only do it twice in the windmill. “It was actually four times!” Peter’s parents, who were in the studio, applauded Hannah’s confession.
The show cuts back to Hannah in Crete. She introduces Tyler C to her parents, who were both charmed by Tyler. Hannah’s father is especially impressed with Tyler’s restraint during his fantasy suite time with Hannah the bachelorette.
Hannah tells her mother she could picture herself getting engaged with Tyler C. Then she also tells Tyler she’s falling in love with him.
Jed’s meeting with Hannah’s parents didn’t go as well as Tyler’s. Hannah’s mom and dad were skeptical as to how Jed could provide for their daughter, when they learned he is a musician.
Trying to reassure Hannah’s parents, Jed told them he just signed a deal to write a dog food jingle.
Hannah’s mom expressed her concern about Jed’s “Nashville lifestyle”.
Getting upset with her parents assessment of Jed, Hannah says she appreciates her parents opinion but, “this isn’t about anybody else but me and what I feel in my heart. Now I’m freaking out.”
Hannah tells Jed she wants to see a clear vision of everything, while Jed assures her “we know what we have”.
“Two people are in my heart at the same time, and I don’t want to make the wrong decision,” Hannah said.
Hannah gets to date Tyler and Jed one more time.
Tyler C and Hannah go horseback riding, then they had a hilltop picnic. They talked about the future, having a family and all, and Tyler C. takes her upstairs. Hannah admits by the end of the night, “I could see being in his arms forever.”
Hannah’s date with Jed is a romantic boat ride, but at one point, Hannah gets seasick.
At dinner, Jed and Hannah gets to have a serious talk. Jed says he’s nervous and is bothered by the reaction of Hannah’s parents to his career. But he assured Hannah that it doesn’t affect his feelings and says he wants to take care of Hannah through thick and thin. He added that he feels like forever with Hannah, something which he never considered with anyone.
By the end of the evening Hannah still feels conflicted and says she still doesn’t have the clarity that she needs.
Hannah comes out live on stage, saying the last two months have been tough and emotional for her. She also refers to the “rumors out there” and added she needs answers from someone tomorrow night (Tuesday).
Spoiler Alert: Are The Bachelorette rumors that Hannah referred to about the issue of Jed’s girlfriend, who came out in the open a few weeks ago? Or are these about her supposedly picking Jed as the winner, and then ditching him in the end when she learns about his girlfriend?
Anyway, for the part 2 of the finale of The Bachelorette 2019 (Season 15), which is aptly titled “After the Final Rose”, Chris Harrison teases, “What happened after we stopped filming?”
We’re all gonna find out about that tomorrow, when the 13th and last episode of The Bachelorette 2019 will air.
