Archie (KJ Apa) grows concerned for Frank (guest star Ryan Robbins) after someone from his past arrives in Riverdale. Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Alice’s (Mädchen Amick) investigation into incidents at Stonewall Prep leads them on a collision course with their primary suspect.
Meanwhile, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) challenges Bret (guest star Sean Depner) to a duel to settle their grievances, while Toni (Vanessa Morgan), Kevin (Casey Cott) and Fangs (guest star Drew Ray Tanner) seek revenge against Nick St. Clair (guest star Graham Phillips), who has shown up unexpectedly in Riverdale.
Finally, a trip to New York City gives Veronica (Camila Mendes) a chance to catch up with her old friend Katy Keene (guest star Lucy Hale).

Riverdale is an American teen drama TV series based on the characters of Archie Comics. The series was adapted for The CW by Archie Comics’ chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and is produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions and Archie Comics. Originally conceived as a feature film adaptation for Warner Bros. Pictures, the idea was re-imagined as a TV series for Fox. In 2015, development on the project moved to The CW, where the series was ordered for a pilot. Filming takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The series debuted on January 26, 2017, to positive reviews. In January 2019, The CW renewed the series for a fourth season consisting of 22 episodes. The fourth season premiered on October 9, 2019.
New Zealand actor KJ Apa (age 22) zoomed to fame when he took on the role of Archie Andrews in 2017. Prior to Riverdale, Apa also starred as Kane Jenkins in the primetime soap opera Shortland Street and as teenage Ethan Montgomery in the comedy-drama film A Dog’s Purpose.
Lili Reinhart (age 23) is an American actress, who also became known for portraying Betty Cooper on Riverdale. Reinhart was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in the nearby town of Bay Village. She developed a love for singing, acting, and dancing at the age of 10, and begged her mom to drive her to New York for auditions. Reinhart moved to Los Angeles when she was 18 years old to pursue acting and almost gave up after five months.
Portraying Veronica Lodge is American actress Camila Mendes (age 25). Mendes’ first acting job was a commercial for IKEA. She was cast as sophomore Veronica Lodge in 2016. She made her feature film debut as Morgan in The New Romantic in 2018 and joined the cast of The Perfect Date, which was released on Netflix on April 12, 2019.
