“Turtle” performed an emotional cover of “Say You Won’t Let Go” on the The Masked Singer Season 3 Episode 2. The panel of judges composed of Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, as well as guest panelist Jason Biggs were wowed by his touching performance.

“Say You Won’t Let Go” is a song by English singer and songwriter James Arthur. The song was released as a digital download in September 2016 in the United Kingdom by Columbia Records as the lead single from his second studio album Back from the Edge (2016). The single peaked at the top of the UK Singles Chart and stayed there for three weeks. The single also topped the charts in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and the Republic of Ireland and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Turtle was voted Safe from elimination and stays in the next round of The Masked Singer Season 3.

A new video gives another set of clues for the real identity of the celebrity behind the Turtle mask.

Netizens have a long list of celebrities as to is behind the Turtle Mask, foremost of which is American singer, songwriter and actor Jesse McCartney. Other names that cropped up include Donnie Wahlberg, David Cooke, Ross Lynch, Brandon Call, Billie Joe Armstrong, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey McIntyre and Kelly Slater.

The Masked Singer is television’s #1 new show, captivating a massive audience of more than 17 million multi-platform viewers in its record-breaking debut. The singing competition series is hosted by Nick Cannon and features panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke. In its first episode for Season 3, American actor, singer, comedian, presenter, and producer Jamie Foxx was featured as a guest panelist.

The show features celebrities facing off against one another with one major twist: each singer is shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, complete with full face mask to conceal his or her identity.

With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who is singing behind the mask. One singer will be eliminated each week, ultimately revealing his or her true identity. It’s not a “whodunit,” it’s a “whosungit!”

The Masked Singer premiered on Fox on January 2, 2019. Then on January 30, 2019, Fox announced it had renewed the series for a second season. On May 13, 2019, Fox announced that the second season would premiere in fall 2019, and that it had ordered a third season, which will premiere following Super Bowl LIV on February 2, 2020.

American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and TV personality Nicole Scherzinger (age 41) is one of the judges of The Masked Singer. Scherzinger became known as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and released the albums PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008), becoming one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time.

Following the group’s breakup in 2010, Scherzinger ventured into television winning the tenth season of Dancing with the Stars and becoming a judge on The Sing-Off and on both US and UK versions of The X Factor. She released her debut solo album Killer Love (2011), which was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). In 2014, she starred on the West End revival of the musical Cats and received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Since then, she went back to television, winning I Can Do That (2015), co-hosting Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris (2015), appearing as panelist on Bring the Noise (2015), and starring in the TV film Dirty Dancing (2017). She was a judge on Australia’s Got Talent, The X Factor: Celebrity and has been a judge on the Fox musical competition show The Masked Singer since Season 1.

The Masked Singer judge Jenny McCarthy (age 47) is an American actress, model, television host, satellite radio broadcaster, author, screenwriter, and anti-vaccine activist. She began her career in 1993 as a Playboy magazine nude model and was later named their Playmate of the Year. McCarthy then had a TV and film acting career, starting as a co-host on the MTV game show Singled Out, then some sitcoms as well as films including BASEketball, Diamonds, Scream 3, and Santa Baby. She is a former co-host of the ABC talk show The View.

American singer, songwriter and record producer Robin Thicke (age 42) is also a regular judge on The Masked Singer. Thicke rose to fame in 2013 with his single “Blurred Lines”, which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. He has collaborated with numerous artists including Christina Aguilera, 3T, T.I., Nicki Minaj, K. Michelle, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Flo Rida, Brandy, Kid Cudi and Mary J. Blige. Thicke worked on albums such as Usher’s Confessions and Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III, while releasing his own R&B singles in the U.S..

Of all the judges of The Masked Singer, it’s Ken Jeong (age 50) who appears as a panelist on both the American and British versions of the singing competition. Jeong is an American stand-up comedian, actor and former physician best known for playing Ben Chang on the sitcom Community and the drug lord Leslie Chow in The Hangover film series. He was also the lead in the ABC sitcom “Dr. Ken”, of which he is also the creator and for which he was a writer and executive producer. Jeong is a licensed physician but has stopped practicing in favor of his acting career. [ref]
