Motherland: Fort Salem Season 1 Episode 5 – The unit travels off base for the high society wedding of Abigail’s cousin. Raelle (Taylor Hickson) throws herself into her relationship with Scylla (Amalia Holm), who, unbeknownst to Raelle, faces an impossible choice.
Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams) becomes disillusioned with her privilege while amongst the notable Bellweather line. And Tally (Jessica Sutton) gets hit with two life-altering revelations that change the very fabric of the unit.

Motherland: Fort Salem is an American drama TV series created by Eliot Laurence that premiered on Freeform on March 18, 2020. Laurence also acts as executive producer along with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Kevin Messick, Steven Adelson, and Maria Maggenti.
The series is set in an alternate, present-day America where witches ended their persecution 300 years ago by cutting a deal with the U.S. government to fight for their country.
Motherland: Fort Salem follows three young women from basic training in combat magic into terrifying and thrilling early deployment. In this world, the traditional roles of gender and power are flipped, with women on the front lines fighting looming terrorist threats, but with supernatural tactics and weapons.

On March 5, 2019, it was announced that Freeform had given the production a straight-to-series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes. The pilot was directed by Steven Adelson, who is also one of the executive producers of the series. Production companies involved with the series are Freeform Studios, Gary Sanchez Productions, Hyperobject Industries, and Well Underway.
Principal photography for the first season was done in Vancouver, British Columbia from April 22, 2019 to August 23, 2019. Filming took place in Cloverdale, Surrey, British Columbia from May 9 to 10, 2019.
On review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, Motherland: Fort Salem holds an approval rating of 58% based on 12 reviews. But the audience score is at 89% based on 62 user ratings.
