Ben’s (Alex Roe) shocking decision to let the reporter die at the end of Season 2 affected his relationship with Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola) and Ryn (Eline Powell).

Meanwhile, a dangerous, sophisticated new mermaid named Tia (Tiffany Lonsdale) arrives in Bristol Cove, challenging Ryn’s leadership and igniting an epic undersea battle between rival tribes. All of this is complicated by the fact that Ryn’s baby, now being carried by a surrogate, must be protected at all costs.

A mysterious young woman proves this folklore all too true when she appears and wreaks havoc on the small town to look for her sister (Sibongile Mlambo) who was abducted at the hands of the local military.

Marine biologists Ben and Maddie work together to find out who and what drove this primal hunter of the deep sea to land.

Siren has been praised by critics. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the series has an approval rating of 94% based on 18 reviews, with an average rating of 8.0/10.
