This movie follows the story of Regine (Amber Anderson), a psychologically fragile young woman who is hiding away in the city, far from the dark and forbidding countryside of her traumatic childhood. She’s struggling to construct the loving family she never had, and to rise above the events of the past: above all, the disastrous home birth of her brother Isaac, which led to her mother’s insanity and Isaac’s apparent death.
But the city also contains its own threats. Regine gets into a relationship with her mother’s eccentric psychiatrist, who later takes advantage of her fascination for the animalistic and forcing her to live out his primal fetish together.
When Regine’s grandmother is brutally murdered, the tragedy raises a crucial question: is Isaac still alive, and looking for revenge against a family which he feels has rejected him?
Driven to heal the wounds of the past and to reunite with her family, Regine must return to the site of her previous traumas and confront the true source of her family’s guilt.
Skin Walker is both written and directed by filmmaker Christian Neuman, in his feature directorial debut.

English actress, pianist and model Amber Anderson (age 28) plays the lead role of Regine in the movie. Anderson is best known for her roles in Emma (2020), The Riot Club (2014), and Mr. Burberry (2016). She also played the role of Ciara Porter in J.K Rowling’s crime drama series Strike.
