This teen drama web TV series was developed for Netflix by Brian Yorkey, based on the 2007 novel Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It revolves around high school student, Clay Jensen, and his deceased friend Hannah Baker. Due to sensitive issues tackled on the series, Netflix added a warning card for the show and from March 2018 on, a video that plays at the start of each season warning viewers about its themes.
The series has been renewed for its 4th and final season, which began filming in July 2019 before finishing in December 2019.
