A big fan of Britain’s Got Talent (BGT), Souparnika said to be finally on the show is overwhelming and felt nervous about her BGT audition.”This is definitely the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
Before she performed, she also told David Walliams that she likes to be on the West End stage one day.
The young singer started singing Garland’s song but Simon Cowell stopped her performance and said he loves Souparnika but he didn’t love the song. He requested that Souparnika perform a song from “The Greatest Showman” which is on her song list, so they can hear a different part of her voice.
Souparnika then sang “Never Enough” and hit it out of the park. Her peformance earned a standing ovation from the judges and the audience. She got 4 yes votes from the judges who all praised her superb rendition.

Britain’s Got Talent (aka BGT) is a televised British talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. It is hosted by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (also known as Ant and Dec), and produced by both Thames (formerly Talkback Thames) and Syco Entertainment, distributed by Fremantle, and broadcast on ITV every year. The show premiered on June 9, 2007 following the success of America’s Got Talent the previous year.
Every year, contestants of any age can audition for the contest with whatever talent they wish to demonstrate. Auditionees seek to impress a panel of judges – at present, consisting of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams – in order to secure a place in the live rounds of BGT. The winner gets a cash prize and a place within that year’s performances for the Royal Variety Performance before members of the British Royal Family.
Britain’s Got Talent 2020 (Season 14) will air in two parts, the first in April 2020 with pre-recorded audition episodes, while the second containing the live rounds to be aired at a later date. The series was split into two parts because of the Covid-19 pandemic or coronavirus outbreak and the resulting lockdown issued by the British government.
