Micah Iverson (age 25) and his coach, Kelly Clarkson, performed “I Run to You” by Lady Antebellum in the Finale on The Voice 2020 (Season 18).
Micah is one of the finalists of The Voice 2020. He competed against Toneisha Harris, CammWess, Todd Tilghman, and Thunderstorm Artis in the Finale. Todd Tilghman of Team Blake Shelton was announced as the season’s winner. Runners-up were Toneisha Harris (Team Blake) and Thunderstorm Artis (Team Nick Jonas). CammWess of Team John Legend got 4th place while Micah came in 5th.

“I Run to You” was released in January 2009, as the third and final single from Lady Antebellum’s self-titled debut album. Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, who comprise Lady Antebellum, co-wrote the song with Tom Douglas. The song topped Billboard’s US Hot Country Songs and peaked at number 27 on the US Billboard Hot 100. “I Run to You” won the 2009 CMA Single of the Year Award in 2009 and won the Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in the same year.
Season 18 of The Voice premiered at 8PM on February 24, 2020 on NBC and aired Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 PM. John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton returned as coaches for their third, fifth and eighteenth seasons, respectively. Nick Jonas joined the panel as a new coach, replacing Gwen Stefani. Meanwhile, Carson Daly returned for his eighteenth season as host.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, production has done some adjustments. For the first time ever, there were only three weeks of Live Shows: the Playoffs, the Semi-Final, and the Finale.
The three weeks of live shows aired as lives done at each contestant’s and coach’s home.
As to the voting system, the television audience voted to save their favorite artists and artists who received the fewest votes became eligible for the “Instant Save”. America then saved their favorite performer by voting on “The Voice” app (available on iOS and Android) or NBC.com. The artists with the fewest number of votes were “sent home” or eliminated each week.
