Stellar Perry (age 36) and Matt Gresham (age 31) from Team Delta Goodrem performed “Slide Away” by Miley Cyrus during the Battles round on The Voice Australia 2020 (Season 9).
Stellar and Matt’s amazing rendition earned a standing ovation from the audience and from The Voice Australia judges Guy Sebastian, Kelly Rowland, Boy George and Delta Goodrem.
Coach Delta ultimately picked Stellar Perry as the winner of the battle while Guy Sebastian saved Matt Gresham. Both Stellar and Matt advanced to the Playoffs, the next round of the competition.

Right after the end of the eighth season, The Voice Australia was renewed for a ninth season and it was announced that all coaches would return for the new season.
The ninth season of The Voice Australia begun airing on May 24, 2020. For the first time in the show’s history all of the coaches are returning: Delta Goodrem for her eighth, Kelly Rowland and Boy George for their fourth and Guy Sebastian for his second. Following the exit of Sonia Kruger, Darren McMullen, who hosted the first three seasons, returns with new co-host, Renee Bargh.
The show is part of the television franchise The Voice and is structured as three phases: blind auditions, battle rounds and live performance shows. The show added another phase in 2017: the knockouts between the blind auditions and the battles. The winner receives a recording contract with Universal Music or EMI (2019) as well as A$100,000 and other prizes.
