Boy George said Stellar is a great singer with an amazing voice and range. He said she is striking looking and just really have to believe in who she is.
Stellar agreed with Boy George and said it’s something she has struggled with, for her whole life.
In a heart to heart with Stellar, Coach Delta Goodrem asked Stellar to write down who she was before she came to The Voice, what she was feeling and why she joined the competition. On the verge of tears, Stellar wrote the words “UNWORTHY, BROKEN, UNLOVABLE, LOST”. Delta then asked her to erase those words she wrote. Stellar said wiping off the words felt like cleansing, and described it as a beautiful and powerful moment.
Delta said she chose the song “Believe” for the semi-final because Stellar has to believe. “She’s gonna inspire so many people who might be feeling that right this second and to be able to come through the other side and stand there as a powerful woman, I’m really proud of her,” she said.
