Utopia Season 1
Utopia is an American drama web TV series adapted by award-winning screenwriter, Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl, Sharp Objects), from the British original series of the same name.
This nine-episode conspiracy thriller centers on a group of comic fans who meet online and bond over their obsession of a seemingly fictional comic called “Utopia.” Together, they unearth hidden meanings cloaked within the pages of “Utopia,” predicting threats to humanity. They realize these are very real dangers coming alive in their world. The high-stakes adventure brings the group face-to-face with the comic’s famed central character, Jessica Hyde (Sasha Lane), who joins them on their mission to save the world.

Utopia was ordered direct-to-series on April 19, 2018 with an order of nine episodes, after being originally set up at HBO with David Fincher to direct, but never produced after a financial dispute.
The series is set to premiere on Prime Video around the fall of 2020 in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. Utopia stars Sasha Lane as Jessica Hyde, John Cusack as Dr. Kevin Christie, Rainn Wilson as Dr. Michael Stearns, Dan Byrd as Ian, Javon “Wanna” Walton as Grant, Cory Michael Smith as Thomas Christie, Ashleigh LaThrop as Becky, Desmin Borges as Wilson Wilson, Farrah Mackenzie as Alice, Christopher Denham as Arby, Jeanine Serralles as Colleen, and Jessica Rothe in a recurring role as Samantha.
