The Haunting of Bly Manor is the follow-up to 2018’s The Haunting of Hill House created and directed by Mike Flanagan for Netflix. This new chapter in the Haunting anthology series will be loosely based on the 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.
The series revolves around Bly Manor and the lives of its inhabitants, both living and dead.

The Haunting of Bly Manor
The story follows a young governess, who is hired by a man to care for his niece and nephew at Bly Manor. Arriving at the estate, she sees apparitions that haunt the premises.
The creative team and most of the cast of The Haunting of Hill House are returning for Bly Manor. Though Bly Manor serves as the second season to Hill House, the narratives of the two series will not be connected.
Victoria Pedretti and Oliver Jackson-Cohen return as new characters. Pedretti plays the role of the governess Dani, while Jackson-Cohen will portray Peter. Henry Thomas and Kate Siegel also return for the second season in undisclosed roles.
The Haunting of Bly Manor wrapped up its production on February 21, 2020. It will premiere on Netflix on October 9, 2020.
