Max Fist (Joe Manganiello) claims to be a hero from another dimension who fell through time and space to Earth, where he has no powers. No one believes his stories except for a local teen (Skylan Brooks) named Hamster. Together, they take to the streets to wipe out the local drug syndicate and its vicious crime boss known as The Manager (Glenn Howerton).

Archenemy is produced by Daniel Noah, Elijah Wood, Kim Sherman, Lisa Whalen, Joe Manganiello and Nick Manganiello. The film played at Beyond Fest on October 7, 2020. It also screened at the Sitges Film Festival on October 1, 2020, where it received a nomination for Best Motion Picture in the Official Fantàstic Competition.
It was announced in November 2019 that Joe Manganiello, Glenn Howerton, and Amy Seimetz had joined the cast of Archenemy, with Adam Egypt Mortimer directing from a screenplay he wrote and from a story by Mortimer and Lucas Passmore. Principal photography for the film began in January 2020.
RLJE Films will release Archenemy on December 11, 2020.
