Good Morning Christmas! tells the story of two squabbling TV hosts, Melissa (Alison Sweeney) and Brian (Marc Blucas), who are sent to a festive small town over Christmas. American actress, director and author Alison Sweeney (age 44) portrays Melissa. Sweeney is best known for her portrayal of Samantha “Sami” Brady on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, for which she has earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, four Soap Opera Digest Awards and a Fan Voted Daytime Emmy Award. She became the host of The Biggest Loser in its fourth season (2007), and left the series at the end of the sixteenth season in 2015. She starred in several Hallmark TV movies including Second Chances (aka Hearts on Fire), Love on the Air, The Irresistible Blueberry Farm, Christmas At Holly Lodge, Time For You To Come Home for Christmas, and several movies in the Hallmark tv film series “Murder, She Baked” and “Chronicle Mysteries.”
American actor Marc Blucas (age 48) plays the role of Brian. Blucas is known for his roles in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Necessary Roughness and Underground. His film credits include They, Prey for Rock & Roll, View from the Top, First Daughter, Thr3e, The Killing Floor, Meet Dave, Knight & Day, and Brawl in Cell Block 99. Blucas also starred in some Hallmark movies including Operation Christmas, The Irresistible Blueberry Farm, Miss Christmas, Season for Love, and Holiday for Heroes.
