The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2 Disney+
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is an American sports comedy-drama television series based on the 1992 film written by Steve Brill. Developed by Brill, Josh Goldsmith, and Cathy Yuspa for Disney+, the series serves as a follow-up to the film. It is produced by ABC Signature and Brillstein Entertainment, with Brill serving as head writer, and Goldsmith and Yuspa serving as showrunners. The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers premiered on March 26, 2021. It was renewed for a second season, which is set to premiere on September 28, 2022.
The series is set in present day Minnesota, where the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow is cut by the Ducks – a team he’s played for practically his whole life – he’s heartbroken. His mother, Alex Morrow, convinces Evan that they should form a new team, a whole group of “Don’t Bothers” composed of underdogs, misfits, and kids too small or slow who will play for the love of the game. In Season 2, the Mighty Ducks go to a super-intense summer hockey institute.
