“Blue Ain’t Your Color” is a song recorded by New Zealand-born Australian country music singer Keith Urban and written by Steven Lee Olsen, Hillary Lindsey, and Clint Lagerberg. It was released on 8 August 2016 as the fourth single from Urban’s 2016 album Ripcord. The song has been a big commercial and chart success. In the United States, it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts for 12 straight weeks in that position on the former. It also peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Blue Ain’t Your Color” also received two Grammy nominations at the 59th Grammy Awards – Best Country Solo Performance for Urban and Best Country Song for its songwriters. It also won both the CMA Award for Single of the Year and the American Music Award for Favorite Country Song in 2017. The song was even nominated for Single for the Year at the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards.
