Sonic Prime is an animated television series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series, co-produced by Sega of America, Netflix Animation, WildBrain Studios and Man of Action Entertainment. It is the sixth animated television series based on the franchise.
The first season, comprising eight episodes, was released on Netflix on December 15, 2022. According to WildBrain Studios, the series is to have at least 24 episodes in total. Sega confirmed that the second season was released on July 13, 2023.
Premise: When an explosive battle with Dr. Eggman shatters the universe, Sonic races through parallel dimensions to reconnect with his friends and save the world.
