And Just Like That is an American comedy-drama television series developed by Michael Patrick King for HBO Max. It is a revival and a sequel of the HBO television series Sex and the City created by Darren Star, which is based on Candace Bushnell’s newspaper column and 1996 book anthology of the same name. The series premiered on HBO Max on December 9, 2021. Billed as a miniseries, it was renewed for a second season in March 2022 which premiered on June 22, 2023.
The series is set 11 years after the events of the 2010 film Sex and the City 2. The women of Sex and the City – Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte – make their transition from their friendship in their 30s to a more complicated reality of friendship, family, and New York in their 50s.
