The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, also known simply as The Ones Who Live, is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series created by Scott M. Gimple and Danai Gurira for AMC. Gimple serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Andrew Lincoln and Gurira. It is the sixth spin-off and overall seventh television series in The Walking Dead franchise. The Ones Who Live is scheduled to premiere on February 25, 2024, on AMC and AMC+.
The series is set after the conclusion of the original The Walking Dead series. The Ones Who Live presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Without each other, are they even alive — or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?
Andre Lincoln and Danai Gurira reprise their roles for the new spinoff series that will finally continue the journey of Rick Grimes and Michonne characters. Also reprising her role as Jadis Stokes / Anne is Pollyanna McIntosh. The Ones Who Live also stars Lesley-Anne Brandt, Terry O’Quinn, Matthew August, Andrew Bachelor, Breeda Wool, and Craig Tate.
