It will consist of only 13 episodes, making it the shortest in the show’s history. The series is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, with David Graziano continuing as showrunner.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (often shortened to Law & Order: SVU or SVU) is an American police procedural crime drama television series created by Dick Wolf for NBC. It is the first spinoff of Law & Order and premiered on September 20, 1999. On April 10, 2023, NBC announced that the series was renewed for a 25th season. The series stars Mariska Hargitay as Captain Olivia Benson, the commanding officer of the Special Victims Unit in a fictionalized version of the New York City Police Department. Law & Order: SVU follows the style of the original Law & Order in that some episodes are loosely based on real c–mes that have received media attention.
