Vinnie McKee “Yellow” BGT Finals 2025
“Yellow” is a song by the British rock band Coldplay. The band wrote the song and co-produced it with British record producer Ken Nelson for their debut album, Parachutes (2000). The song was released on 26 June 2000 as the second UK single from Parachutes, following “Shiver”, and as the lead single in the United States.
“Yellow” reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, giving Coldplay their first top-five hit in the United Kingdom. It was Coldplay’s breakthrough hit internationally, reaching number one in Iceland, number five in Australia, number nine in Ireland and number 48 in the United States, helped by radio rotation and usage in television and movies. “Yellow” has since been covered by various recording artists worldwide, and remains one of the band’s most popular songs.

Britain’s Got Talent (often abbreviated to BGT) is a televised British talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. Presented by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (colloquially known as Ant & Dec), it is produced by both Talkback Thames (Thames from 2012 to 2024) and Syco Entertainment, distributed by Fremantle, and broadcast on ITV every year (excluding 2021) in late Spring to early Summer. The show was originally intended for production in 2005, but filming was delayed after the intended host, Paul O’Grady, stepped down. Following the success of America’s Got Talent that year, production resumed, and the programme eventually premiered on 9 June 2007.
The eighteenth series (series 18) of British talent competition programme Britain’s Got Talent began airing on ITV1 on 22 February 2025 and will conclude during May 2025. The series is presented by Ant & Dec, with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli returning as judges.
