Who won this year’s Project Runway?
It’s the contemporary womenswear designer Sebastian Grey (age 31), who was judged as the winner of Project Runway 2019.
Sebastian Grey, who is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, won from a field of 16 designers who competed to become “the next great American designer”.

Next to Grey is contemporary and avant-garde designer Hester Sunshine (age 34) from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Master corsetier Gary “Garo Sparo” Spampinato (age 45) of New York, New York came in at third place.
For The Final Runway or Project Runway 2019 season finale, the top three designers went through all aspects of putting together a runway, from model casting to hair and make up and what outfits to present.
Aside from the Project Runway 2019 judges Karlie Kloss, Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell and Elaine Welteroth, the season finale had Belgian fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg as guest judge.
