America’s Got Talent: The Champions (often abbreviated as AGT: The Champions or simply AGTC) is a spin-off of America’s Got Talent (also known as AGT), a televised American talent show competition. Much like the main program, the spin-off was created by Simon Cowell, produced by Fremantle, and broadcast on the NBC television network, premiering on January 7, 2019. The program, which functions in a similar format to AGT, features a variety of participants from across the Got Talent franchise – winners, finalists, live round participants, and other notable entries – competing against each other across a series of preliminaries to secure a place in a grand final and a chance to win a cash prize and the title of America’s chosen “World Champion” within Got Talent.

Last winter’s #1 most-watched alternative series, “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” returns for a second season. The series will feature a star-studded panel of judges, including executive producer Simon Cowell, global superstar Heidi Klum, “AGT’s” longest-running judge Howie Mandel and the newest addition – singer, songwriter and author Alesha Dixon, who joins “Champions” from the smash hit “Britain’s Got Talent.” Terry Crews, star of NBC’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and People magazine’s “Sexiest TV Host,” returns as host. “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” brings together the world’s most talented, memorable and all-around fan-favorite acts from past seasons of “AGT” and from the other “Got Talent” franchises around the globe.

Angelina’s performances went viral on YouTube, and she was featured in People magazine, Time, and other news outlets around the world. She also realized a personal ambition by performing, in 2014, at that year’s Nobel Peace Prize concert.

In September 2014, she performed “Fly Me to the Moon” on the US TV show The View. She has also performed in TV2 programs like Allsang på Grensen (Singing at the Border) and on TV4 in Sweden. She appears in a small guest role in the last episode of the 2014 season of the Netflix series Lilyhammer, playing a girl who sings in a bar.

In April 2016, she performed “Fly Me to the Moon” on the American television’s children’s talent show Little Big Shots.

In December 2016, she performed on “Alan Walker is Heading Home” live concert in Bergen (Norway), where she sang both restrung versions of Sing me to Sleep and Faded.

On the 27th of June 2018, Angelina performed “Fly Me To The Moon” in The O2 Arena, London, for Quincy Jones’ 85th birthday.

In 2015, Angelina published the book Mellom to hjerter (Between two hearts) illustrated by her grandmother Mery Zamani. The book tells the story of Angelina’s meeting with a poor motherless girl in Asia to whom Angelina gives her shoes. In return the girl promises to always pray for Angelina. According to Angelina, the book is based on a real incident, and she cites it as the reason for always performing barefoot. In 2016, Angelina launched her own YouTube Channel. After Angelina’s debut Christmas EP My Christmas released in 2014, she released Angelina Jordan — The EP on November 27, 2017, and the album It’s Magic (with Forsvarets Stabsmusikkorps) on June 15, 2018.

Angelina lives in Oslo with her family which includes a younger sister. She has previously lived in other countries, including the US. Her Norwegian mother Sara Astar (born 1984), is the daughter of Iranian artist Mery Zamani (born 1961), and a Japanese father. Angelina’s father is Swedish.

She is a pupil at Oslo Waldorf School and also attends the after-school program Oslo School of Music and Performing Art where she receives vocal training. In addition to singing she plays the piano, violin and flute.
