This movie follows Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth), a fearless black market mercenary who embarks on the deadliest mission of his career when he’s enlisted to rescue the kidnapped son of an international crime lord.
Extraction (previously known as Dhaka) is an American action thriller film directed by Sam Hargrave in his feauture directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Joe Russo. It stars Chris Hemsworth, David Harbour, Manoj Bajpayee, Marc Donato, Fay Masterson, Randeep Hooda, Pankaj Tripathi and Derek Luke.

On August 31, 2018, it was announced that Sam Hargrave would direct Dhaka, (later retitled to Extraction) from a screenplay by Joe Russo. In addition, Chris Hemsworth was set to star in the film. In November 2018, the rest of the cast was set.
Production began in Ahmedabad and Mumbai in early November 2018 until November 19. Filming next took place in Ban Pong, Ratchaburi, Thailand and plateshots in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Principal production for the film ended in March 2019. The film’s title was changed first to Out of the Fire, and was finalized to be Extraction on February 19, 2020.
Extraction is scheduled to be released on April 24, 2020, by Netflix.
