American actress, voice actress and singer Lacey Chabert (age 38) portrays Tess Harper. Chabert gained prominence as a child actress on television for her role as Claudia Salinger in the series Party of Five (1994-2000). Her film credits include Lost in Space, Not Another Teen Movie, Daddy Day Care, Mean Girls, Dirty Deeds and Black Christmas. She has appeared in more than 15 Hallmark Channel movies and several Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movies including A Royal Christmas, Family for Christmas, A Christmas Melody, A Wish for Christmas, Moonlight in Vermont, The Sweetest Christmas, My Secret Valentine, Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe, Christmas in Rome, and Winter in Vail. She also co-starred with Brennan Elliott in three movies for the Hallmark series All of My Heart.
Canadian actor Brennan Elliott (age 45) portrays Logan O’Connor. Elliott is best known for his role as Dr. Nick Biancavilla in the Lifetime medical drama series, Strong Medicine (2000-2004). He later had recurring roles on the television series The 4400, Cedar Cove, and UnREAL. Aside from his lead role in Crossword Mysteries, Elliott also co-starred with Lacey Chabert in the Hallmark movie series All of My Heart, and with Brooke Shields in Flower Shop Mystery. Elliott has starred in several Hallmark movies including The Nanny Express, A Christmas Melody, Love you Like Christmas, Christmas Encore, Christmas at Grand Valley, All Summer Long, and Christmas in Vienna.
