The Sausage sang “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” by Whitney Houston for her first performance during the Finale of The Masked Singer 2021 UK (Series 2). She then performed “Rise Up” by Andra Day and was ultimately voted as the winner of The Masked Singer UK 2021. The Badger ended up as runner-up for the series while Robin came in third place.
No one among the panelists/judges was able to guess the celebrity behind the Sausage Mask. But the panelists were consistently blown away by her stunning voice and made several guesses as to who the Sausage could be. The list of guesses include Billie Piper, Meghan Trainor, Stacey Solomon, Sheridan Smith, Sia, Adele, and Leona Lewis.
A lot of The Masked Singer UK fans were way ahead of the judges and correctly guessed who Sausage is, even during her early performances.

Sausage was revealed as English singer, songwriter and actress Joss Stone (age 33), one of the best-selling soul artists of the 2000s, and the best-selling British artists of her time with 15 million records sold worldwide.

Asked why she wanted to be Sausage, Joss answered, “Who doesn’t love sausage and chips?” She said it was so fun that the panelists couldn’t guess who she is.
Host Joel Dommett asked his standard question, “Why do The Masked Singer?” Joss quickly replied, “Why not? Life can be too serious. We shoud just dress up in chips and sausage, and have a sing song.” She said that being on The Masked Singer has been the funniest, most hilarious job she ever had and that she loved it so much. She can’t believe that she’s the winner. “I feel like I’ve won the world,” she said.
Dommett revealed that Joss was doing the entire show while she’s “heavily” pregnant.
The clues for Sausage were explained after the reveal. Joss is a singer, actor, model, and voice artist, hence the clue, “Sausages are a combination of a little bit of everything.” Joss is a soul singer from Dover, which is why Dover Sole appeared on the chip shop menu in her clue VT. The clue song “All Around the World” was a clue to Joss having performed in every country in the world, apart from one. “Snagged myself a King” was a clue to Joss playing Anne of Cleves in “The Tudors” and marrying King Henry. Joss attended the royal wedding of William and Kate, hence the clue “seeing some important people say for better or wurst.”
Joss Stone rose to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions, which made the 2004 Mercury Prize shortlist. She has six albums so far, four of them reaching the top 10 on Billboard 200. Joss has earned two Brit Awards and one Grammy Award out of five nominations. She also made her film acting debut in the fantasy adventure film Eragon (2006) and made her television debut portraying Anne of Cleves in the Showtime series The Tudors in 2009. Joss was the youngest woman on the 2006 Sunday Times Rich List-an annual list of the UK’s wealthiest people-with £6 million. In 2012, her net worth was estimated to be £10 million, making her the fifth richest British musician under 30.
The second series of the British version of The Masked Singer premiered on ITV on December 26, 2020.
Joel Dommett, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, and Rita Ora all returned for their second season as host and panelists. Ken Jeong was replaced by British comedian Mo Gilligan on the panel for series two, due to travel restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic which prevented Jeong’s participation.
The series features 12 contestants, namely Alien, Badger, Blob, Bush Baby, Dragon, Grandfather Clock, Harlequin, Robin, Sausage, Seahorse, Swan, and Viking.
