Angelyne 2022

Angelyne is an unauthorized limited series loosely inspired by the Hollywood Reporter’s investigative 2017 article about Angelyne, L.A.’s mysterious billboard icon. It is executive produced by Allison Miller, Angelyne, Lucy Tcherniak, Chad Hamilton, Emmy Rossum, and Sam Esmail. Series directors are Lucy Tcherniak and Matt Spicer.

The series focuses on fame and the elusive nature of truth itself. Here’s Peacock’s press release for the series: “Peacock’s limited series about fame, identity, survival, billboards, Corvettes, lingerie, men, women, women teasing men, men obsessed with women, West Hollywood, crystals, UFOs, and most importantly of all, the self-proclaimed Rorschach test in pink, glow-in-the-dark queen of the universe, Angelyne.”

The cast includes Emmy Rossum as the titular character, Jefferson Hall, Lukas Gage, Charlie Rowe, Ted King, and Alex Karpovsky. Angelyne is scheduled to stream on Peacock on May 19, 2022.
