American actress, singer, songwriter, author, and life coach Lisa Whelchel (age 58) portrays Wendy. Whelchel is known for her appearances as a Mouseketeer on The New Mickey Mouse Club and at 9 years old, as the preppy and wealthy Blair Warner on The Facts of Life. In 2012, she tied for second place in reality series Survivor: Philippines. Her film credits include The Double McGuffin, The Magician of Lublin, Where the Red Fern Grows:Part Two, and A Madea Christmas. She also starred in the Hallmark movie Hearts of Spring.
Canadian film and television actor Antonio Cupo plays the role of Marco. Cupo is known for his roles in the Italian series Elisa di Rivombrosa. He also starred in the films Carnera – The Walking Mountain, Barbarossa, and September Eleven 1683.
